Let’s Story-Mory!

Good morning everyone! I have a day off today!! Yeah! Well, actually all Selangorians have a day off today due to Nuzul Quran Celebration. So.. I purposely snoozed my alarm and only woke up at 9.45am. That felt soooo good! I had enough sleep and I had enough rest! I’m sooo energetic today! Don’t wanna waste this precious day, soo… What I’m going to do?? Here’s the list.

1. Go to school to collect UPSR’s trial answer scripts to be marked.
2. Go to Maybank to bank in my check (dari arie tu nk bank in asek tangguh je..).
3. Go to supermarket to buy groceries.
4. Go to KONIKA to print pictures.
5. ________________ (dunno yet!)

Erm,  actually this weekend, I was supposed to go to Shah Alam, my sis’ place. I was intending to buy stuff for hantaran, (the baskets, the persalinan la, bunga2 or renda2 and etc) but, since my kittens just got back from the vet, so I think it’s not the suitable time for me to go there and leave them. I mean, yeah I’m sure my sis or my dad could take care of them, but I feel like no one takes care of my kittens as good as I do, especially when they’re not really well right now. So, I postponed that plan until after raya. Lagipon, nk gi time skang ni leceh la.. Nnti letih.

Erm.. I wanna post few pictures of what I’ve been doing with my classes for the past week. I start with Year 5 first (my own class). As what I’ve mentioned in this entry, my students wrote a poem (their own versions) based on The Little Cabin In The Woods, and after that, I asked them to write the poems on a manila card and decorate it as creative as possible. The most creative group would be rewarded.

So, I hung all these cards in the class. Hmm.. Class aku ni dh mcm ape je.. Penuh ngn bnde2 mcm ni. X cukup softboard, pakai dawai gntung bnde2 ni. Haha

Okay now! Year 4 class! I asked them to make a mask out of the cutting papers and manila cards. I actually had no ideas what to do with them in literature class. Usually, what we did was Shared-Reading and discussed the summary read for that chapter. Rasernye diorg boring, aku pon boring gak. Tahape2 tah.. So, I came up with ideas to do this mask. It’s based on the story, The Little Blue Boy.

So… That’s about school! Hehe.. Okay! Let’s talk bout other things! Hm… About engagement ceremony?? I still haven’t bought anything yet. Nada! Tu la yg ingat nk gie mgu ni.. Tpi x jdi. I’ve been thinking to buy the baskets for the hantaran, but sarang burung (bird’s nest) pon cantik jugak kan?? Erm… For the engagement, I only need 7 baskets. I’m now actually googling images for some ideas… Bukan nk tempah, nk tgk ideas je.. Kalo bleh buat sndiri, buat sndiri. Hihi… Tpi kalo murah, tempah je..

Hi! Hari ni nk tulis dalam Malay. Sempena bulan puasa. Sempena dh nk raya. Hm? Xder kaitan. Haha

Pagi tdi ade class. Drpd 34, 25 je yg turned up. 9 org lgi M.I.A. Dhla yg x dtg tu budak2 yg lemah. Geram btol! Smalam dh warning dh, ade bnde penting nk bgtau regarding to English Paper 2 for UPSR, tpi brani gak diorg ni x dtg. Grr! X sedar diri btol la diorg ni. Nways, tdi class okay jer. Cume x bape cukup mase laa.. Sometimes, I just feel that there are soooo many things to tell, yet soooooo little time. Lagi bape mgu je nii nk UPSR. Aku lak yg takut. Huhu..

Patutnye pas abes class tdi, aku terus gi Shah Alam. Lepak umah kakak. Sebenarnye nk amek resit nombor plat keta ngn ECPI products yg kakak belikan. Tpi, balik2 class tu rase letih giler. Lepak2 jap smbil tgk tv, then ngntuk… Terus tido. Erm, sblom tu, ade gado ngn Mr.Gonzales. Text+gado ngn dier smpai aku tertido. Bile bgn dh kul 3 ptg. Dh lmbat mcm tu, aku dh jdi malas nk gi. Lagipon, keta tgh buat hal. Mls nk amek risiko. Kang tersadai tgh jalan, mmpos. Tpi, x jdi gi arie ni, mebbe gi esok pgi. Balik arie laa.. Letih giler la nnti. Hm, mang kena gie. Coz, resit plat number tu Acik Din (agent keta) nak kalo boleh this Monday. Kot2 keta smpai before raye. So, esok terpakse gak la gi Shah Alam amek.

Hm, tgh tgu Mr.Gonzales ni sebenarnyer. Die janji nk online dating jap lgi. Hm, dier bru text. Tgu lgi 10 mins. Hehe

Hm.. Dah ready nk raye?? Taon ni, sbb ni taon pertama aku kerje, so… Aku nk blanje langsir baru. Haha. Aku tanye mak tdi, kalo umah ni agak2 bape meter langsir nk beli? Mak ckp, x byk sgt… X smpai 50m. I was like, Huish? 50m?? Biar benar?? Terus terdetik kat hati aku, ‘Betol ke aku nk blanje ni?? Byk btol’ Hahaha. X ksah la bape meter pon. Mang aku nk belanje. Sbb next year pon, mak ngn ayah akan blanje aku kenduri kawen. Hua9

Hm, tetiber teringin lak nk ade DSLR. Ngn Blackberry Bold. Ape bnde ek yg buat aku tetiber nk dua menatang ni?? Wana babe, ko nk jual x DSLR ko ngn BB ko?? Aku nk beli. Serious.

Two Different Emotions In A Day!

I have two stories to tell here.

1- Not a fun story.
2- Exciting story!!

1.

This morning, I was a bit late (as usual). I got out from house around 7.25am. It usually took me around 10 minutes to get to school. So, since I was always THAT late, I would drive fast in order to get to school before 7.40am. There were no cars in front of and behind me at that time. The road was clear. While I was driving while humming the songs on the radio, suddenly I saw a cat from my left running across the road. It ran veeerrryyy fast! I was shocked. I screamed, tried to slow down, but I guess I was too late. I heard something like ‘GEDEGUK!’ under the car. God… I knew I already hit the cat. When I looked at the rear view, I saw the cat was already tergolek2… Then, to my surprise, suddenly the cat got up and ran again to the roadside. It ran perfectly, like nothing happened to it. Maybe at that time, the cat just wanted to save itself from being hit again by other cars, so it just ran to the roadside, ignoring the pain that it felt. I’m not sure if the leg was broken, or anything but I’m sure something must have happened to it. Maybe he’s suffering right now, maybe he cant walk, just lying painfully.. I was sooo down and worried. God… I didn’t mean to hit the cat… If I had time to slow down, of course I would make way for the cat even though I knew I was late to school already! Huhu.. It was my fault..

As soon as I reached school, I quickly texted Mr.Gonzales, telling him what happened. He told me to be careful next time, not driving too fast etc.. At the staffroom, I was just quiet. I couldn’t shake off the guilt that I felt. I nearly cried. I felt like seeing the cat tergolek2 on the road over and over again..

Dear pitiful cat, here I’m writing to you to let you know that I am soooo very sorry for what happened to you.. I didn’t mean it, I tried to avoid you but I was too fast and couldn’t slow down. I reaallly2 hope you’re okay out there…

I’m so sorry..
Please forgive me… Huhu..

Next! About my red baby…

Well, that baby hasn’t born/arrived yet! But I’ve already got the I/C number for her. It’s called, drum roll please…

Okay! Let me tell you the story behind this.

I actually wanted a Wilayah number, which at this time maybe starts with WUC or something around that, but I changed my decision at the last minute. Well, I change my mind every 2 seconds, you all know that. Nways, I finally decided that I wanted Selangor number. That’s because, soon I’ll be settling down in Muar after I get married, and this Selangor plat number, will always remind me of my ‘kampung’, also as a reminder that I’m always a Selangorian. Well hmm, let’s just put it that way. Hehe. In Selangor, it’s now BKX, and the number was just opened for public to book this morning, since yesterday was still BKW.

And also, my first choice was actually BKX 3123. Obviously, that’s a combination of my birthday, 23rd April and Mr.Gonzales’ birthday, 31st January. But.. Sadly, the 3123 plat number was taken by someone else (whoever you are, damn you!), so the second choice would be 2331. But I guess, as long as 23 and 31 are together, that’s alright with me..

When I told Mr.Gonzales about this plat number, he said, ‘Sweet la bb ni…‘ Hihihi

So, BKX 2331, is MINE!
I’m sooooo excited!!!

Whoa! I already got the I/C number for my baby, but no name yet!
What am I going to call her?
Hmm… But one thing for sure, the surname is Winchester.

Little cabin in the woods,
Little man in the window stood,
Saw a rabbit in the woods,
Frightened as could be.

“Help me! Help me!” the rabbit said,
“Before the hunter shoots me dead.”

I asked my students to change few nouns, verbs and adjective in the poems to make their own versions based on their imagination and creativity.

So, these are the poems that were written by my students. PSSSTT!! I copied them here without changing anything at all. This is EXACTLY what they wrote. That explains the grammar errors in the poem. Hehe

GREEN GROUP

Big stable in the village,
Big boy sit beside the door,
Saw a horse in the village,
Sad as could be.

“Help me! Help me!” the horse neigh,
“Before the  villagers caught me.”
Come big horse, come with me,
You will save with me.

BLUE GROUP

Big garden in the backyard,
Little girl in the swing sit,
Saw a beautiful butterfly in the garden,
Nervous as could be.

“Help me! I be trapped at the spider web,
“Before the spider eat me dead.”
Come little butterfly, I help you
Hurry up little butterfly.

YELLOW GROUP

Big zoo in the city,
Big man outside the cage,
Saw a tiger out from cage,
Frightened as could be.

“Give me some food! Give me some food!” the tiger said.
“Because I am hungry.”
The big man give some food to the tiger,
Full you will be.

RED GROUP

Big garden in the backyard,
Big girl in the garden stood,
Saw a unicorn in the backyard,
Cute as could be.

“Hug me! Hug me!” the unicorn said,
Come cute unicorn, come to me
Let me hug you with my love.

I had fun seeing them having fun writing the poems. When they asked my opinions, I was like.. “Huh?? Nervous butterfly? Stable in the village??” Haha. But, it was all about their imagination.. So, xper la.. Okay la kot… Hehe.

On Monday, they’re gonna write the poems on the manila card (after I ask them to make correction on the grammar part, of course), and decorate the card as creative as possible, and display the work at the students corner.
