Let’s Do Some Catchin-Up #2

Here, there’s a catchin up to do..

Last week, I finished reading Cecelia Ahern’s second book, Where Rainbows End.. And now, am reading her third book, If You Could See Me Now..

Last two days, I went to Borders and bought another Ahern’s book, her fourth book to be exact, A Place Called Here.

And in the evening, after Photomedia tutorial (which was fun coz the cute+poyo guy in the class that I’ve been ‘usharing’ since past few weeks, looked cuter than usual), Salina and I went to Pancake Manor to ‘makan-makan’ with Mizi (Maya’s husband) before he goes back to Malaysia this weekend.

Yesterday, I got a food-poisoning.. Nurul and I ate Nasi Goreng Ayam at Kedai Indonesia, West End and 2 hours after that, when I was lying on my bed reading ‘If You Could See Me Now’, I felt something weird in my stomach. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, opened them and try to continue reading. But then my head felt so dizzy, I quickly sat up, jumped out of the bed, and ran to the toilet. I vomitted twice. At first, I thought it was ‘sakit perut+masuk angin’ coz I hadn’t had any since morning, but Nurul vomitted too. Four times! So, it’s true, food-poisoning. And smpi skang perut still pedih lagi!! That m****rf****r Kedai Indon, we’ll sue you!!!!

Today, I had a dance practise at CLV for this coming It’s Malaysia-Lah!!! event, then after that I went to the city with Sal. We were actually planning to go to valley to buy ingredients for ‘Kuah Rojak’ but since Sal and I (especially Sal) were so hungry, so we went to Nandos first.  Then, canceled going to valley coz it was quite late, we went to Borders instead. I bought Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I’ve been wanting to read that since I knew the movie is coming out. And I wanna finish reading the book before I watch the movie!! Also, I bought Narnia ‘The Magician’s Nephew’ Book 1 by C.S. Lewis. Sal really2 FORCED suggested me to buy that book. I think she asked me to buy that book, more than 20 times. And after I bought it, she even asked me to read that first chapter infront of her while waiting for the bus. See how crazy this woman is?? I have no idea.

Ops! Almost forgot! We saw something really beautiful today when we were stepping out of Borders.

The Groom and Bride+The  City+The Crowd = GORGEOUS!! I have never thought that some people can be this creative…

Everything..

Find Me Here
Speak To Me
I want to feel you
I need to hear you
You are the light
That’s leading me
To the place where I find peace again.

You are the strength, that keeps me walking.
You are the hope, that keeps me trusting.
You are the light to my soul.
You are my purpose…you’re everything.

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

You calm the storms, and you give me rest.
You hold me in your hands, you won’t let me fall.
You steal my heart, and you take my breath away.
Would you take me in? Take me deeper now?

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

Cause you’re all I want, You’re all I need
You’re everything,everything
You’re all I want your all I need
You’re everything, everything.
You’re all I want you’re all I need.
You’re everything, everything
You’re all I want you’re all I need, you’re everything, everything.

And How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

p/s     – the video is about Jesus. But every word of the song delivers only one message that can be shared with all, Have Faith in God, and He Will Take Care of You..

“Allah s.w.t said, “Selangkah kau kepada-Ku, seribu langkah Aku kepadamu..” He won’t stop calling even if we ignore Him, He won’t give up on us even if we give up on Him, He’ll always there whenever we need Him, He always watches out for us, even if we never bother and never care, He shows us His love.. always, even if we’ve never appreciated it.

That’s how He loves us.

And that’s what we should feel embarassed about.. Coz we haven’t showed Him that we love Him.. enough yet..

Dean Winchester’s Room -DM Project

I went to St Lucia (Lynn’s house) with Didie this evening to finish our claymation project for Digital Media unit. I could say it’s 50% finish, and I’m very glad about the work that has been produced today!

The story is about a boy named Dean Winchester (Duh! Of course I suggested that name! Haha!) who loves eating junk food, instead of fruits and vegetables. Until one day, he dreams that his body explodes from getting too fat, then he realizes the importance of practising healthy lifestyle. (Typical!!) But, who cares. So, the first thing to do before filming this, we have to create the set!

So.. Ta-da!! Presenting, Dean’s room!

See?? Dean loves Liverpool and Stevie G! Just like me! Haha!

I love the bed!

This is Dean, the leading character for our claymation project.

I enjoyed making Dean’s laptop from the clay, pasting the pictures (frames) on Dean’s wall, making Dean’s desk from ‘lebihan2 kotak’, while Didie was working on the bed and pillows, and also books using boxes and tissues, the curtains from the apron that she found at her garage (the curtains look very cool!), and Lynn was busy making the chair from woolies cotton buds box, and the vase which actually made Dean’s room looks very girlish. Haha! Never mind, Dean loves those colours.

Me and Didie, with our project. Lynn is also in our group, but she refused to be in the pic. Haha!

You can look at the whole claymation video, here. Enjoy! :-)

The Eight Special Girls…

The Eight Special Girls,

  • Who were always in troubles at school,
  • Who always got a ‘pompuan tatau malu (shameless girls)’ look from the boys,
  • Who were always loud, (I believe they still are!)
  • Who rarely went to surau for sembahyang jemaah, and made their own dorm as their surau,
  • Who always peeped into boys’ hostel for no reason,
  • Who always asked the junior girls to treat them some lollies, ice-creams, cokes, etc
  • Who always criticized wardens and their slaves (the excos) for their deep interest in doing spotcheck at hostel,
  • Who always thought the boys at their school were so so LAME and BORING,
  • Who were always bad at singing but insisted to form a nasyid group, just because they didn’t have anything better to do.
  • Who were always ran to one of their friend every Sunday after she came back to hostel, because they knew she always brought lots of food for their friends. (Her mom was a caterer.)
  • Who always gave nicknames to the persons they didn’t like at school including teachers,
  • Who always loved the attention that the got especially when they were conquering and making noise at ‘kolah asrama’.
  • Who always cheated on dresscode spotcheck after school’s assembly by walking out of the hall fast while the prefects (aka the teachers’ slaves) were not ready yet, or skipping through hall’s backdoor.
  • Who at one point, made one of their friend angry because she believed they hid something from her. She was very moody all night at the study room, felt like bitching them to others, only to find out that they were actually planning to throw her a surprise birthday party.
  • Who always skipped study time by sleeping at their dorms, and allowed one of their friend who was the exco (aka wardens’ slaves) to write their names due to the discipline problem that they were committing. Even though they hated excos, but they couldn’t hate her. Because she was one of the special eight.
  • Who fought for their friend from getting her name blacklisted by the wardens, just because she wrote love letter to her senior at school. They even helped her cleaning the bathroom which was her punishment for writing to her senior. They had a good splashing water-festival in the bathroom, anyway. Thanks to you, Mr Warden.
  • Who sometime didn’t talk to each others over stupid things, then they wrote notes to apologize. They couldn’t stand being angry with each others for more than three days.
  • Who always changed presents on Friendship Day. Venue-Study Room. Time-Study Hour. Nice!
  • Who promised to keep in touch with each others after school years, even though new friends might come along.
  • Who promised to be there for their special eight, through thick and thin.
